So, now that we know how it all started. Let’s talk about what the game is all about.

The main thing I wanted to capture is the feeling of having a remote place in the mountains where I can grow and harvest my very own plants, fruits and vegetables. Create a little piece of heaven I can call home.

So that’s what the core gameplay is all about. But I wanted more… I love crafting games in general. One of my favorite things in games is to figure out how to make stuff, and love exploring the world is presented to me to find the resources needed to craft things for me to use.

Games like World of Warcraft, Astroneer, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Zelda, and many more have always let my imagination run wild with their crafting and gathering systems and I think each has fantastic features but I think there’s always room for something new.

So I want to combine the Simulation part with Exploration and Creativity to progress through the game. Exploration leads to amazing ways for me to create a storyline without feeling too linear. And creativity it’s an amazing tool to create a re-playable experience once you finish a storyline, letting you fully customize your property exactly how you want and make it your own.

I want to create two storylines for you. One focused on becoming a great Botanist and the other one that will take you on a more personal journey to help Mother Earth restore her balance…. *goosebumps*

Both storylines will require you to embrace your wild spirit of adventure. From gathering scientific data, collecting samples, scan and classify all kinds of living organisms to work with the elementals of earth. This is game is all about possibilities and be amazed at what nature does best, so as a Botanist you have a life goal of searching for something we can’t yet see but it exists in the universe, And that ambition and dreams will lead you to incredible discoveries.

So, Exploration… check. Crafting… check. Amazing Storylines… check. So what else?

Well, As I said in my previous post I’ve wanted to run my very own plant nursery and I think not only is it fun to decorate, arrange and manage a shop, But can also help tie the storyline together. There can be many unlockable achievements for all the achievement hunters out there and create a game economy for all tycoon heads out there.

In a nutshell, these are the main features of Sunshine Falls and this is just a brief explanation of what I want you to experience while playing the game. There are so many more exciting features that will time you will discover on your own.
